Mental health and wellbeing reform cover
The Victorian Government has launched two landmark initiatives to drive the ongoing transformation of Victoria's mental health and wellbeing system.

• The Next Phase of Reform: Mental Health and Wellbeing in Victoria
• Mental Health and Wellbeing Outcomes and Performance Framework.

The Next Phase of Reform celebrates the achievements of the first phase of reform following the Royal Commission into Victoria’s Mental Health System. It reflects on learnings and sets out the priorities for mental health and wellbeing in Victoria for the next three years.

To ensure these reforms deliver real change, the Outcomes and Performance Framework provides a robust way to measure success. It focuses on tangible outcomes for individuals, families, and communities while promoting shared accountability across government and services.

The framework supports the transformation of the mental health and wellbeing system using a whole of system and government approach. It will drive shared responsibility and accountability for mental health and wellbeing outcomes across government and services.
