CIMS Policy Update
Limited updates have been made to the Client Incident Management System (CIMS) policy and guidance.
The updated CIMS policy will commence on 15 October 2026.
MARAM Adults Using Family Violence (AUFV) Identification and Intermediate Risk Assessment tools released for SHIP users
Family Safety Victoria has released two new Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) tools on the Specialist Homelessness Information Platform (SHIP) in Victoria.
The two new tools, 'Adults Using Family Violence (AUFV) Identification' and 'AUFV Intermediate Risk Assessment' are being rolled out between the 7 and 10 September 2026.

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) is holding its annual Emergency Preparedness and Engagement Forum on Wednesday 7 October 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The forum is open to anyone from the social services sector, including organisations funded by the department.
