The Victorian Government has published new Family Violence Regional Integration Committee Guidelines (FVRICs) to support collaboration across local services responding to family violence in Victoria.
Updated: Primary Prevention of Family and Gender-Based Violence Capability Framework
The Victorian Government has updated the Primary Prevention of Family and Gender-Based Violence Capability Framework, which was published in 2017.
The updated Primary Prevention of Family and Gender-Based Violence Capability Framework outlines the skills and knowledge that professionals need to work in Victoria’s primary prevention sector, such as:
• supporting the latest primary prevention practices
• building the skills and recognition of the workforce.
Mobile devices to receive AusAlert test on 27 July
Mobile devices and iPads across Australia may receive a test alert on 27 July as part of the Australian Government’s new emergency messaging system.
The Australian Government is launching AusAlert in October. This is a new national warning system that can send emergency messages to compatible mobile devices.
Before AusAlert is ready to use, it will be tested to make sure it works as intended.
