It’s National Child Protection Week
We are celebrating Child Protection Week from Sunday 6 September to Saturday 12 September 2026.
Child Protection Week shines a light on those who work in child protection and the child and family services sector and community. It is an opportunity to recognise their efforts to make a positive difference for children, young people, families and carers.
Winners announced for the 2026 Victorian Protecting Children Awards (VPCA)
The VPCA celebrate the Victorian child and family services sector and community.
Winners for the 2026 VPCA were announced at the 23rd annual award ceremony held on Thursday 3 September in the lead up to Child Protection Week.
CIMS Policy Update
Limited updates have been made to the Client Incident Management System (CIMS) policy and guidance.
The updated CIMS policy will commence on 15 October 2026.
