Register now: Emergency Preparedness and Engagement Forum
The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) is holding its annual Emergency Preparedness and Engagement Forum on Wednesday 7 October 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The forum is open to anyone from the social services sector, including organisations funded by the department.
MARAM Adults Using Family Violence (AUFV) Identification and Intermediate Risk Assessment tools released for SHIP users
Family Safety Victoria has released two new Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) tools on the Specialist Homelessness Information Platform (SHIP) in Victoria.
The two new tools, 'Adults Using Family Violence (AUFV) Identification' and 'AUFV Intermediate Risk Assessment' are being rolled out between the 7 and 10 September 2026.
Indexation for funded organisations: Indexation processing underway
The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing will be processing indexation in September 2026, with payments expected prior to the end of September and backdated to 1 July 2026.
