Community service jobs require highly skilled professional people. We know it can be difficult to support new starters develop their skills and experience.
Investing in a rich and rewarding graduate experience will help us retain more new workers in the sector. It will also grow the skilled workforce that community and social services need to meet current and future demand.
The graduate program will provide:
- two graduate intakes per year to assist with workforce planning and supply of available qualified graduates.
- supported centralised recruitment administration through the Graduate Resource Centre.
- a structured learning and development experience to improve retention of workers in their early years of employment.
- a clear pathway for new graduates from study to work.
