The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (the department) is responsible to deliver Emergency Recovery Support Programs (ERSP), subject to funding, for future emergencies.

ERSP focus on working with communities impacted by emergency events (such as floods and fires) to support them to build their capacity to take ownership of their recovery journey, in a safe and supportive, and socially and culturally appropriate manner.

The department is now establishing a Victorian Emergency Recovery Support Program - Service Provider Register (the register), via an Expression of Interest (EOI) process, to support future ERSP implementation efficacy.

Service providers (funded agencies) with current (2025-26) service agreements with the department can now apply to be assessed for inclusion on the register, to provide the following ERSP core services in response to future emergencies:

  1. Intake; and/or
  2. Case support;  and/or
  3. Case management.

The ERSP register closes at 2.00 pm sharp on 20 August 2025.

An optional online information session will also be held on 6 August 2025 from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm. Service providers must RSVP to register to attend this information session.

Interested service providers are encouraged to access the EOI via the Victorian Government’s Buying for Victoria portal - Display Tender P26104
