2023-24 WorkCover premium discounts for organisations

WorkSafe Victoria provides a discount to an organisation’s WorkCover insurance premium in certain circumstances. For 2023-24, eligible organisations can obtain a 5% discount by paying their premium as a lump sum before 14 August 2023. Alternatively, a 3% discount will be offered to eligible organisations who pay their premiums in full by 1 October 2023.

The WorkCover insurance premium statement will provide details of whether the discount is available to your organisation.
 

Please contact your Monitoring Coordinator via email by Friday, 28 July 2023 if you would like the Department to make an adjustment to your service agreement cash flow to enable you to take advantage of the August discount.

If so, you will need to provide the following:

  • Amount requested (up to the discounted premium total)
  • Confirmation that the advanced cash flow is requested to obtain the discount
  • Copy of your WorkCover Premium Statement.


If your organisation would like to take advantage of the discount in October instead, please provide the above information to your Monitoring Coordinator by Friday 8 September 2023.
