State gender equality action plan
Our equal state is Victoria’s roadmap for four years of action in gender equality in Victoria. It includes 110 actions to advance gender equality across all parts of government.

Some key achievements outlined in the State Gender Equality Progress Report include:

  • The continued statewide rollout of the Free Pads and Tampons in public places program
  • Enshrining the gender equality budget statement into law
  • Release of the landmark Inquiry into Women’s Pain.
