Recipients Announced! Pride Events and Festivals Fund (PEFF) 2026-2027

Thirty organisations and community groups have received a share of $400,000 to host rainbow events and festivals up until November 2027.

The Pride Events and Festival Fund plays a crucial role in fostering community, promoting acceptance and understanding, and combatting discrimination and prejudice.

Successful organisations and groups will host inclusive and diverse events and festivals across Victoria that celebrate LGBTIQA+ communities.

Some of the successful recipients include:

  • Melbourne Rovers Soccer Club, who will host a football match between members, drag queens and community
  • Minus18, who will use their funding to deliver their 2027 Queer Formal
  • Rainbow Dads Victoria, who will use their funding to support upcoming events such as the Father’s Day picnic and Family Pride Event
  • Geelong Rainbow, who will be delivering the 10th annual week-long Geelong Rainbow Festival

This program as part of a broader effort to progress LGBTIQA+ equality in Victoria through our 10-year LGBTIQA+ strategy, Pride in our future: Victoria’s LGBTIQA+ strategy 2022-32.
