The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) is holding its annual Emergency Preparedness and Engagement Forum on Wednesday 7 October 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The forum is open to anyone from the social services sector, including organisations funded by the department.

This includes, but is not limited to:

•    In-home and community-based services
•    Residential and home-based care services
•    Disability services
•    Councils
•    Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) and Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs).

Join the forum to:

•    hear directly from emergency management professionals
•    learn from others in the social services sector
•    discover practical ways you can prepare.

Auslan interpreting and live captioning will be available for this event.
