To support callers during this time of change:
- During the transition period, callers contacting Parentline are being told the service is ending next week and are being advised of the range of other supports available to them.
- Once the service has ceased:
- an updated notice will be added to the Parentline web page https://services.dffh.vic.gov.au/parentline.
- a recorded message will provide detailed advice to callers on other support options. This will be in place for 12 months, until Friday 31 October 2026, and can be extended for longer if required.
Victorian parents, carers and families will continue to get the support they need. There are a range of services and resources that provide connected support and / or counselling.
We have listed some of the ongoing support services and resources on the Parentline web page and in communications with callers and stakeholders.
