2026 Victorian Disability Awards – nominate someone today!

Nominations for the Victorian Disability Awards are open until 26 June 2026.

The Victorian Disability Awards recognise a person, group and organisation that: 

• champion disability rights and inclusion  
• demonstrate best practice policy delivery and advocacy 
• are role models in their own communities and across Victoria
• promote disability pride.   

The Victorian Government wants to celebrate those who help make Victoria fairer and more inclusive by recognising their achievements over the past year.  

Do you know someone that:  

•    makes everyday activities easier and more accessible for everyone   
•    stands up for the rights of people with disability   
•    builds more inclusive workplaces and communities   
•    promotes and celebrates diversity.      

You can nominate: 
•    a person with disability 
•    family members 
•    volunteers 
•    person working in the sector 
•    an organisation that provides programs, advocacy or services.  

Before you begin, it’s a good idea to read the nomination guide and allow up to 2 weeks to collect the information you will need. If you need help to complete your nomination online, please contact the Awards team by phone on 1300 880 043 or email awards@dffh.vic.gov.au

Nominations are open until 5pm, 26 June 2026.  The nomination period will not be extended.
