Guidance for using and choosing video conferencing apps

29 July 2020
Working from home has become the normal for most people during these unprecedented times. Many people have turned to video conferencing applications to have online meetings and collaborate with others.

To assist with your video conferencing and online meetings, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has published Guidance for using and choosing video conferencing apps.

Video conferencing applications are great tools to facilitate and support remote working. However, when it comes to ensuring the privacy and security of your meetings, not all video conferencing tools are equal.

When a video conferencing application lacks security, we risk the privacy and safety of our clients.

Not all organisations use Microsoft Office 365, but the guidelines will provide you with confidence that no matter which video conferencing application you use, you can take steps to ensure that your meetings are secure and private.
