The Quality Governance Healthcheck tool is based on the principles and quality governance domains outlined in the Community Services Quality Governance Framework. The tool enables boards to assess the ‘health’ of their agency’s quality governance. On completion of the ‘Healthcheck,’ boards receive a downloadable results report to support prioritising actions to improve their quality governance approach. The report also contains links to available resources to help establish or improve quality governance. The Healthcheck has been developed and tested with board members and CEOs from a range of agencies and includes input from key content experts.
Boards are encouraged to use the tool, at least once a year, at a time in the planning cycle when the results can be used to set priority activities for improving quality governance. The Community Services Quality and Safety Office team welcome the opportunity to speak with community services boards or management teams about the Quality Governance Healthcheck.
