Dhelk Dja Family Violence Fund is now open

A new funding pool of $18.2 million over two years is now open for eligible Victorian Aboriginal organisations and community groups to enable a range of Aboriginal-led tailored responses for victim survivors and people who use violence.

The funding streams available are:

  • Aboriginal frontline family violence services
  • Holistic healing
  • Preventing the Cycle of Violence
  • Aboriginal family violence workforce capacity building

The Dhelk Dja Family Violence Fund launched under the Dhelk Dja: Safe Our Way – Strong Culture, Strong Peoples, Strong Families 10 Year Agreement, will build on the Victorian Government’s commitment to embed Aboriginal self-determination in our family violence service system by supporting Aboriginal organisations and communities to implement Aboriginal-led solutions to address family violence.

Call for submissions close at 2pm, 26 October via the Buying for Victoria (formerly Tenders Vic) website. Applications will not be accepted outside of Tenders Vic.
